Notman, Visionary Photographer | Starting November 23

Thursday, November 22 and Saturday, November 24

William Notman literally looked at the world through a different lens — using unprecedented photographic techniques, he created stunning portraits of Montréal, the city he called home.

As part of the exhibition opening activities, the Canadian Museum of History’s Dr. John Willis and the McCord Museum’s Hélène Samson reveal the man behind the photographs. Join these experts and explore the world of William Notman.
